Gigs & Notices SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: SERVICE AWARD: - In April of 2007, I received the Hartsfield-Jackson Customer Service Recognition Award, an award that is presented each month by airport management to service-related personnel working at the airport (I play piano in the International Concourse three days a week). Click here to read more about it and see photos. SPECIAL GIG: - On April 1, 2007 I was one of the artists performing at the 800 East Studios for SOJA (Southeastern Organization for the Jazz Arts). SOJA is a charitable organization that is very supportive of the advancement of Jazz in the Southeast. I'm also scheduled to perform at some of their other upcoming events. Details will be posted shortly on this website. All of these are all free and open to the public but you are encouraged to bring your wallets and/or checkbooks to support the Duke Pearson Jazz Camp! PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN: - Copies of Dem's Da Breaks were sent out in early February to radio stations and media reviewers all over the country. The CD has already received airplay in such markets as San Diego, Wichita, Houston, Greensboro, Indianapolis, as well as WABE-FM here in Atlanta. NEW CD: - My first CD, Dem's Da Breaks, was completed by the manufacturer on December 5, 2006!
